If you’ve never played fantasy baseball before, now is the perfect time to get in the game as you will be able to take advantage of the Champion of Champions contest being added. It will be a chance for the winners of each baseball league on Yahoo to compete for prizes. More details on the contest and official rules to come soon.
Along with other elements you’ve come to expect on Yahoo like 24/7 drafting and mock-drafting, including on Android and iOS devices, here are some other exciting new features for this season:
– Tons of prospects were added to the game. More than we’ve ever had
– We killed O-rank, making our rankings easier to understand
– The addition of a new research tool, Trade Market, where you can see who is being traded for whom across the Yahoo player universe
– Pro Leagues are available at launch
– Cash Leagues coming soon after launch
– Easier keeper league management
– Very soon, new users will be able to create a fantasy account with a valid email address (from any domain) and password. No longer do you need to create a yahoo ID in order to play. Existing users will use their same accounts.
