This Adrian Beltre bobblehead allows you to finally touch his head
hates people touching his head.
Two important things to remember about Texas Rangers third baseman Adrian Beltre: He’s a fantastic player, in the middle of what could very likely be a Hall of Fame career. And heThis is a fact that is well known both in his own clubhouse and around the league. So teammates (mainly Elvis Adrus) and opponents (like Miguel Cabrera) find great joy in perturbing Beltre by trying to touch his head. For our money, it’s one of the better ongoing gags in MLB.

So the Rangers are having a little fun with it in 2016. They’ve announced a Beltre bobblehead that has a removable helmet — perfect for touching his head. Finally, we can all play along at home.
Unlike the real-life version, the bobblehead — to be given out Aug. 14 — shouldn’t take a swing at you after you try to touch its head. It joins the Chipper Jones/Freddie Freeman snow rescue bobblehead and the Sean Doolittle Metallica gnome as the best MLB giveaways announced so far for 2016.
