David Ragan driving for BK Racing in 2016
David Ragan has found a Sprint Cup ride for the upcoming season.
Ragan told an Atlanta’s Fox 5 that he would drive for BK Racing in 2016. Matt DiBenedetto, who drove for the team in 2015, will be the driver of the No. 83.

Ragan, 30, drove for three teams in the Cup Series in 2015. He started the season with Front Row Motorsports and moved to Joe Gibbs Racing when the team needed a substitute for Kyle Busch. Ragan then became the substitute driver for Brian Vickers at Michael Waltrip Racing for the rest of the season.
He drove the Daytona 500 for Front Row, the next nine for JGR and 26 for MWR. He was without a ride for the 2016 season after MWR said it was not fielding a full time team after 2015. Ragan had one top-five finish in 2015 — he was fifth at Martinsville in the spring while driving in Busch’s place.
Ragan has two Sprint Cup wins and both have come at restrictor plate tracks. He won the 2011 summer race at Daytona with Roush Fenway Racing and won the spring race at Talladega in 2014 when he was pushed by then-Front Row teammate David Gilliland to the win.
