Jason Hammel makes perfect shot at Blackhawks game, needles Rizzo
It was Jason Hammel’s turn to hit the ice Sunday at a Chicago Blackhawks game and try to make a shot from center ice through a small hole in a covering across the face of the goal.
It took the 33-year-old right hander a few tries but eventually came up with the money shot. It was something teammate Anthony Rizzo couldn’t do a few weeks earlier and Hammel later poked fun at his teammate on Twitter.

Rizzo fired back noting that Hammel was shooting from his strong side. Rizzo, a lefty, also shot right-handed when he attempted the shot.

Yes, that’s Rizzo answering the call from a fan in the video above to demonstrate the Whip/Nae Nae during the Cubs Convention earlier this month. What you don’t see is Hammel and catcher David Ross laughing and not participating just off camera.
