Fan falls onto field celebrating Luke Kuechly’s pick-six

The Carolina Panthers are one of the most exciting teams in recent NFL memory, and the team has invited fans along for the ride. But for heaven’s sake, Panthers fans, don’t hurt yourself trying to get in on the action.

Immediately after Luke Kuechly’s late pick-six, the play that solidified once and for all that the Panthers are the dominant team in the NFC, a fan, perhaps looking for one of those famous Panther football handouts, flipped right onto the field from the first row of seats. It’s not a far fall, maybe seven feet or so, but still … ouch. Kuechly even stopped to check on the fan. He did not, as best we could determine, give the fan the ball. That would set one heck of a dangerous precedent.
