Bulls' Rose exits with back, hamstring issues
CHICAGO — Bulls guard Derrick Rose will not return to his team’s game Monday against the Miami Heat because of lower back and right hamstring issues.
It is unclear exactly when Rose’s injuries occurred. Rose was 2-for-6 in the first half of the game, and he had four points and one assist. Recently, the former MVP has been doing a better job of driving to the rim and attacking the basket.
Rose has missed six games this season because of injuries. He missed almost all of training camp because of a left orbital fracture, and he missed a handful of contests because of knee tendinitis and knee and hamstring soreness.
