NHL Three Stars: Luongo blanks Blackhawks; Larkin fires winner over Sabres
No. 1 Star: Roberto Luongo, Florida Panthers
Stopped all 27 shots on goal to best the Chicago Blackhawks 4-0. The shutout was Luongo’s 72nd of his NHL career. He moved ahead of Lorne Chabot and Harry Lumley for 11th in NHL history. With 421 career wins, Luongo is two from tying Tony Esposito for seventh in NHL history. It was the first shutout by the Panthers against the Blackhawks since 1998.
No. 2 Star: Dylan Larkin, Detroit Red Wings
The Detroit rookie scored one goal, added an assist and chipped a tooth in a 3-0 win over the Buffalo Sabres. Larkin now has 15 goals and 17 assists in 46 games played this season. Larkin leads all rookies with five game-winning goals this season. He’s second in rookie scoring.
No. 3 Star: Petr Mrazek, Detroit Red Wings
Mrazek improved to 17-9-4 by stopping all 19 Buffalo Sabres shots on goal in the victory. The shutout was Mrazek’s third of the season. He has a 2.32 goal-against average and .932 save percentage.

Miller scored two goals in a 4-1 win at the Carolina Hurricanes … Rangers goaltender Henrik Lundqvist stopped 30 of 31 shots on goal … Rangers defenseman Kevin Klein was a plus-3 … Henrik Zetterberg and Luke Glendening each scored for the Red Wings. Glendening also added an assist.
