6 cyclists from Giant-Alpecin in hospital after incident (The Associated Press)
Six cyclists from the Giant-Alpecin team were hospitalized and are in stable condition after being hit by a car while training in Spain, the team said Saturday. Giant-Alpecin said on its website that cyclists Warren Barguil of France, Germans John Degenkolb and Max Walscheid, American Chad Haga, Swede Fredrik Ludvigsson, and Ramon Sinkeldam of the Netherlands were involved in the incident near the Spanish town of Calpe. The team added that all six riders are in stable condition after being taken to two local hospitals.
