Wesley Gordon, F, Colorado at Washington ($6,400)
Do not let Gordon’s lackluster line from the Buffaloes’ win over Oregon this past Sunday scare you off, as the 6-9 junior dealt with a thumb injury that held him out of the entire second half. Check Gordon’s status closer to tip-off, but Coach Tad Boyle has said he expects his shot-blocking machine to be active. Prior to Sunday, Gordon had averaged 8.3 points, 10.3 rebounds and 2.3 blocks during Colorado’s previous four games.
Jeff Roberson, F, Vanderbilt at Tennessee ($6,400)
Roberson is coming off the best performance of his collegiate career, as he put up 16 points, 11 rebounds, five assists and two steals against Alabama. That stat line continues a recent upward trend for the sophomore. Over the past three games, Roberson has averaged 12.3 points, 8.3 rebounds, 2.7 assists and 1.3 steals while receiving more than 34 minutes per contest.
Noah Dickerson, F, Washington vs. Colorado ($5,900)
Gearing up to lead the Washington frontcourt against Gordon and company, Dickerson has really come into his own as of late. The freshman forward has averaged 14.3 points, 4.7 rebounds and 1.7 steals while making 20-of-34 shots from the floor across the past three games. Those numbers have resulted in 23.3 FanDuel points per contest during that span.
Robert Hubbs III, G, Tennessee vs. Vanderbilt ($6,500)
Hubbs, while not offering an extremely high ceiling, has been a consistent contributor for the Volunteers and seen at least 28 minutes in 12 of his 15 games this season. The junior guard has really settled into his role and produced solid numbers across Tennessee’s past four games, putting up better than 21 FanDuel points each time out with averages of 11.3 points, 6.0 rebounds and 2.5 assists.
Riley LaChance, G, Vanderbilt at Tennessee ($5,800)
While very tempting to finish off Wednesday night’s sleeper picks with UCLA guard Aaron Holiday (12.8 points, 4.3 assists last four games), LaChance is the selection. The Vanderbilt sophomore offers similar overall potential at a price $300 less than that of Holiday’s $6,100. Through the Commodores’ first five SEC games, LaChance has gone north of 20 FanDuel points four times, averaging 13.6 points and 3.0 rebounds while knocking down 14-of-26 attempts from beyond the arc.
