Recruits visiting Auburn played Madden 16 on stadium video board
High school football players on a recruiting visit to Auburn this weekend got some quality video game time.
The football program let recruits play Madden 16 on the video board at Jordan-Hare Stadium. The video board, installed for the 2015 season, is the largest video board in college football. It cost $13.9 million.
Jackson is an Auburn commit. He’s a four-star recruit and the No. 10 defensive tackle in the country according to Rivals.
While getting to play Madden on the video board is pretty cool, it’d be much cooler if it was EA Sports’ NCAA Football game. But alas, NCAA Football has been discontinued since the 2014 edition after former players’ have taken legal action regarding their use of likenesses within the game and for other uses. Madden is the only current football game.
National Signing Day is February 3. Yes, less than three weeks away. Football season never stops, does it?
