Kicking recruit’s neighbor trolls Jim Harbaugh with MSU sign
Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh knew securing a pledge from one of the final top recruits on his list wouldn’t be easy, but he probably never expected the player’s neighbors to get involved.
Quinn Nordin, the nation’s top kicker, is currently committed to Penn State. However, Harbaugh decided that when the recruiting dead period ended at 12:01 a.m. on Friday, he would be the first at Nordin’s door and would, as Nordin put it, have a sleepover.
However, when Harbaugh pulled up to Nordin’s house, the neighbors, who are Michigan State fans, were ready.
Not only is the sign some high-level trolling, it’s also some amazing preparation with a small window. Nordin’s story came out mid-week and this sign was propped and ready to go by early Friday morning. Well played, neighbor of Nordin, and nice job by Harbaugh to tweet and acknowledge a fine troll when he sees one.
In the end, Harbaugh might get the last laugh, though, if Nordin spurns the Nittany Lions for the Wolverines.
