Ravens’ LaQuan Williams will auction off Super Bowl ring
Former Baltimore Ravens receiver LaQuan Williams has placed his Super Bowl XLVII ring up for auction.
Goldin Auctions is hosting the ring’s auction, with an opening bid set at $15,000 and the current bid at $18,000. Goldin describes the ring as having 245 diamonds with a total weight of 3.75 carats, with 10K white gold and purple amethyst.
Williams is a Baltimore native who saw limited action in 2011 and 2012. He was injured during the second half of 2012, the Ravens’ Super Bowl season, and did not see action in the postseason. He was cut from the team in early 2013 and did not catch on with either the Patriots or in a second stint with Baltimore.

Of note: Williams is the fourth member of the Ravens’ Super Bowl-winning team to auction off his Super Bowl ring from three years ago. Safety Omar Brown, practice squad running back Damien Berry, and former Raven Jamal Lewis all auctioned off their rings. (Lewis, a member of the Ravens’ Ring of Honor, was given his ring by owner Steve Bisciotti.)
In previous auctions, Brown’s ring went for $43,920, Lewis’s for $50,820, and Barry’s for $43,000. Williams’ auction ends in 16 days.
