Rams players react to team’s Los Angeles move on Twitter
Upon hearing the news that the franchise would be moving to Los Angeles, Rams players made their feelings known on Twitter Tuesday night.
There were thanks for St. Louis and optimism for L.A. Rams linebacker Alec Ogletree was one of the first Rams players to sound off in both directions.
Fellow linebacker James Laurinaitis took the time to write a long note to the city he called home for the past seven years. (Now go recharge that phone, James.)
Defensive ends Chris Long (who might not be back for salary reasons) and Robert Quinn also expressed their feelings.
For some Rams, the move is extra special. Check out what Akeem Ayers, wjho went to high school in southern California and college at UCLA, had to say.
Former Rams great Isaac Bruce, who started his career in L.A. but moved with the franchise in 1995 to St. Louis, let a few iconic banners of the Rams’ “Best Show on Turf” glory days do the talking.
