How are Vikings fans dealing with playoff disappointment? Not well
The Minnesota Vikings lost a football game they controlled for the first 3 1/2 quarters and were in a position to finish off with a chip-shot field goal by Blair Walsh. By now you likely know how that went.
In case you don’t here’s the depressing radio call from play-by-play announcer Paul Allen and color analyst Pete Bercich:
Allen: “The season can’t end like that!”
Bercich: “Sometimes you’d rather be lucky than good.”
Sigh. Yep.
This guy couldn’t watch. We don’t blame him.
Word to the wise: Don’t film yourself watching these plays. They almost always turn bad, and when they don’t … no one cares. This we’ll watch, though. (h/t Deadspin)
Yes, you knew this famous movie reference was coming. Only a matter of time.
But this one might be out favorite from a schadenfreude standpoint.
