2 World Cup races canceled by warm weather, no snow (The Associated Press)
The International Ski Federation says it has canceled two World Cup races in Germany, forcing more changes in an increasingly warm winter. FIS says ”warm temperatures, lack of snow and unfavorable weather forecasts” caused it to cancel the women’s giant slalom and slalom races in Ofterschwang on Jan. 16-17. Races in Finland, Germany, Croatia and Austria have been canceled or switched this season in the men’s and women’s calendar.
