Roy Halladay doesn’t want Bonds or Clemens in Hall of Fame
are making progress when it comes to their chances to get into the Hall of Fame, one of their contemporaries sure isn’t campaigning for their induction.
While it appears Barry Bonds and Roger ClemensTwo-time Cy Young award winner Roy Halladay doesn’t think Bonds and Clemens are deserving of a plaque in Cooperstown and his reason is the same one we’ve been hearing for years: no PED users allowed.

So while it isn’t an original take, it’s also the only reasonable one for wanting to keep Bonds and Clemens out. There’s no arguing that based solely on their lofty accomplishments and statistics that they’re among the best to ever play the game.
But to hear a fellow player speak out against their Hall of Fame candidacy is at the very least interesting and potential justification for BBWAA voters not to include Bonds and Clemens on their ballot.
