TRADE TALK: The Marlins and Rangers have been discussed swapping outfielder Marcell Ozuna for pitcher Chi Chi Gonzalez. [SHOWCASE: Tim Lincecum is planning to hold a showcase in late January or early February. Lincecum underwent surgery last September to repair a torn labrum in his left hip and to address an impingement. [@jcrasnick]
DONE DEAL: The Pirates have signed free agent reliever Neftali Perez to a one-year deal worth $3.9 million guaranteed. Incentives could push the deal as high as $4.5 million. [@JeffPassan]
