Pack’s Micah Hyde nabs one of the best interceptions of the year
The scene: less than seven minutes left in the third quarter, Green Bay down 10 points to Minnesota in the battle for the NFC North. The Vikings were driving, and appeared to be building inexorable momentum when Teddy Bridgewater made a curious decision: to switch hands and throw a left-handed pass. It didn’t go well:
Hang on, did the Packers’ Micah Hyde catch that one-handed and backwards? Yeah, it certainly appeared so:
Green Bay thus had a moment in which it could have challenged for this game, to retake momentum and control. Unfortunately, the Packers almost immediately fumbled and surrendered a touchdown, putting them down 20-3. Not good. But at least we got this astonishing highlight.
