Arkansas All-American TE Hunter Henry declares for NFL draft
Arkansas tight end Hunter Henry, an All-American this season, has declared for the NFL draft.
Henry announced his decision in a statement posted to the school’s website. In it, he thanks the Arkansas coaches, teammates and fans, and stated that he intends to finish his degree in Fayetteville.
Henry caught 51 passes for 739 yards and three touchdowns this past season. He had 116 receptions, 1,661 yards and nine touchdowns during his career.
Henry is considered one of the top tight ends in the draft and reportedly received a first round grade from the NFL Draft Advisory Board. Arkansas has not had a first round pick since Darren McFadden and Felix Jones were both picked in the first round in 2008.
Arkansas offensive tackle Denver Kirkland, who projects as a guard, also declared for the draft.
