College Football Playoff picks: Orange Bowl, Cotton Bowl, national title game – Sports Illustrated
They’re finally almost here. More than three weeks after the selection committee revealed its final rankings, the College Football Playoff semifinals are upon us.
So who will advance in the Orange Bowl and Cotton Bowl to reach the national championship game? Will Clemson remain undefeated or will Oklahoma continue its scorching hot finish to the season? Will Alabama avenge last year’s semifinal loss or will Michigan State become the second Big Ten team to send the Crimson Tide home?
We’ll find out Thursday, but before then, SI’s college football experts made their playoff selections and picked not just the semifinals, but who will win the national championship, as well.
