Melo (ankle) returns for Knicks game vs. Hawks
New York Knicks forward Carmelo Anthony will return to the lineup on Saturday after a one-game absence, according to the team.
Anthony missed the Knicks’ loss Wednesday to the Cleveland Cavaliers with a right ankle sprain. The team announced via Twitter that coach Derek Fisher said Anthony will be back on the court on Saturday against the Atlanta Hawks.
Kyle O’Quinn will also be back in the lineup after missing two games with a right ankle sprain, the team announced via Twitter.
The Knicks (14-16) figure to get a boost on offense with Anthony in the lineup. The 31-year-old had averaged 25 points on 59 percent shooting in his previous two games.
