Welcome to the biggest NBA regular season day of the year. Our staff has made their picks against the spread for all the Christmas Day games coming from the hardwood. First we’ll look at what our best bets for the day are, and then get to what each of us picked against the spread. Happy Holidays, enjoy the hoops.

BEST BETS

Pandian: Spurs (-6.5) at Rockets. The Spurs are a machine and Houston has no chance of slowing them down, even if they are playing at home.

Moore: Warriors (-7) over Cavs. The Warriors are at home, and whenever they face a team that is a supposed threat, they bring their A-game and run roughshod. Kyrie Irving‘s been back only a few days and the matchups aren’t great for Cleveland. The Warriors roll like they (almost) always do.

Herbert: Thunder (-8.5) over Bulls. Things are really bad for Chicago right now. I’d be surprised if that team got a Christmas miracle in OKC, where Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook are destroying everybody.

Harper: Spurs (-6.5) at Rockets. The Spurs are dominating the league right now and the Rockets, while seemingly improved at times, are essentially a house of cards. Spurs should roll.
