Before Week 15 of the 2015 NFL season schedule kicks off, I thought we would have some fun by taking a look at the spreads for this week’s round of games. (Click here for NFL Week 15 picks without regard to the spread.)

Here are my suggestions when trying to beat the odds. You can find all of today’s NFL betting lines and more at the SB Nation odds page via OddsShark. My record so far this season is 87-97-5 after going 9-6 last week. Another week with a winning record! Maybe I can get back to .500 before the season is over.

2015 NFL WEEK 15 PICKS AGAINST THE SPREAD

Houston Texans at Indianapolis Colts (-2): This is the most AFC South game possibly. These two teams are battling for control of the division, and they’re both doing it with their backup quarterbacks. Matt Hasselbeck is set to start for the Colts despite being shaken up last week. Meanwhile, the Texans are going with T.J. Yates. I’m gonna say Houston’s defense finds a way to bunker down here. Pick: Texans +2

Kansas City Chiefs (-7) at Baltimore Ravens: The Ravens aren’t revealing who they’re going to start at quarterback, but it probably doesn’t matter anyway. The Chiefs are red hot and they’re an easy choice here. Pick: Chiefs -7

Tennessee Titans at New England Patriots (-14.5): I’d like to say former Eagles quarterback Marcus Mariota will find a way to make this one close, but I don’t think I can. The Patriots will roll. Pick: Patriots -14.5

Chicago Bears at Minnesota Vikings (-6): The Vikings are predictable because they beat bad teams and lose to good teams. The Bears were showing some promise, but they’ve looked more bad than good recently. Therefore, the Vikings are the pick, especially since they’re at home. Pick: Vikings -6

Atlanta Falcons at Jacksonville Jaguars (-3): It’s amazing to think this Falcons team was once 5-0 and now they’re 6-7. It seems really hard to do something like that. Atlanta has been so bad and they’re going to be on the road. Don’t let me down, Blake Bortles. Pick: Jaguars -3

Buffalo Bills (-2) at Washington Redskins: Washington is 5-2 at home this season. The Bills are 3-4 on the road. I’ll take Washington with the points here. Pick: Washington +2

Carolina Panthers (-5) at New York Giants: The Giants are totally going to win this game. It doesn’t make sense, but that’s exactly why it’s going to happen. The Panthers are obviously the better team, but they’re dealing with an injury to Jonathan Stewart. The Giants played the previously undefeated Patriots tough earlier this season, so watch them somehow win this one outright. For as good as this Panthers team is, I have the feeling they won’t go undefeated. Now watch me be wrong. Pick: Giants +5

Green Bay Packers (-3.5) at Oakland Raiders: It seems like that Hail Mary touchdown pass has helped the Packers right the ship. The Raiders can keep this game respectable, but I’m taking the Pack to win and cover. Pick: Packers -3.5

Cleveland Browns at Seattle Seahawks (-15.5): Pretty big spread here. Unreasonably big? Probably not. The Seahawks are playing some very good football.  Russell Wilson is on fire. Seattle is averaging 35 points per game in their last five matches. Cleveland, meanwhile, has allowed 30 or more points in five of out their last six games. Pick: Seahawks -15.5

Miami Dolphins at San Diego Chargers (-2): The Chargers have a lot to play for in this one. This could potentially be their last game played in San Diego. A few franchise mainstays, such as Malcom Floyd and Eric Weddle, are likely playing their last home game with the Chargers regardless of where the team is next year. San Diego is going to come out desperate to win. Pick: Chargers -2

Denver Broncos at Pittsburgh Steelers (-7): This is tough. Denver’s defense is so good. Pittsburgh’s offense is also so good. With the Broncos playing on the road, I have to side with the Steelers. I just don’t trust Brock Osweiler to be able to match points with what the Steelers can do offensively. I don’t feel great about this pick, though. Pick: Steelers -7

Cincinnati Bengals (-6) at San Francisco 49ers: The Bengals are starting AJ McCarron since Andy Dalton is hurt. I don’t know what to really expect out of him. The good news for Cincy is that they have a strong supporting cast. It should be enough to get by a bad 49ers team. Pick: Bengals -6

Arizona Cardinals (-3.5) at Philadelphia Eagles: It’s weird because the Eagles don’t really need this game. They can win the NFC East even if they lose to the Cardinals here. Philadelphia has upset potential, but the Cardinals have been so good and they’re coming off extra rest. It’s too easy to pick them. Pick: Cardinals -3.5

Detroit Lions at New Orleans Saints (-3): The Saints are at home. They’re an easy pick over a Lions team that suddenly looks bad again. Pick: Saints -3
