Rams player certain to be fined for likely Stedman Bailey tribute
The St. Louis Rams played what could be their final game in the Edward Jones Dome on Thursday night, so it would be the last time this season that the players have the chance to honor one teammate who is not there.
The “12” is for Stedman Bailey, who nearly lost his life in a shooting but who reportedly will be able to be home by Christmas, which is a miracle. And, sadly, it will be a miracle if the NFL’s uniform Nazis don’t punish William Hayes with a fine for his hand-drawn tribute.

But the league can’t get to Tavon Austin, who, upon scoring his second touchdown of the game, flashed up the number one with his left hand and the number two with his right.
Bailey has been able to watch his team play, so he most certainly saw — and how could he miss those turmeric-colored unis? — both teammate tributes in the blowout of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He also surprised his teammates during a pre-game meeting when he talked to them via Facetime, exciting the Rams players.
And that’s great news for all involved.
