Sergio Aguero could be available for Manchester City’s table-topping Premier League clash with Arsenal on Monday after returning to full training on Wednesday, the club announced.
Aguero, 27, has missed four games with a heel problem sustained against Southampton last month, but City said on their official website that the Argentina striker was back training with his team-mates.
“Provided there is no reaction, (City manager) Manuel Pellegrini will hope to have Aguero available for the trip to the Emirates Stadium,” the club said, alongside pictures of Aguero in training.
City are currently third in the table, a point behind second-place Arsenal and three below leaders Leicester City.
