The NFL is back for Week 14 of the season, and the OddsShark Computer is expecting a big week once again for favorites.
The most notable game of the week features the Cincinnati Bengals hosting the Pittsburgh Steelers in an AFC North showdown. The Bengals won in Pittsburgh earlier this year, and are installed as a field-goal favorite at sportsbooks monitored by OddsShark.com. The computer predicts the Bengals finish the season series with a sweep, covering by a final score of 27.9-18.5.
The biggest favorite right now for Sunday has the Kansas City Chiefs as 10-point chalk over the San Diego Chargers. The Chiefs are 4-1 against the spread in the last five games between these two teams, and the computer has the Chiefs covering big by a final score of 33.0-12.5.
The Seattle Seahawks are the biggest road favorite, listed at -9.5 against the Baltimore Ravens. That line opened at five points, but shot up due to the questions at quarterback for the Ravens. The computer has the Seahawks covering with a 28.4-12.5 victory.
The biggest favorite not projected to cover in Week 14 is the Green Bay Packers. They are a touchdown favorite at home against the Dallas Cowboys, a team against whom they are on a run of 4-2 ATS at home. The computer predicts a close game, with the Packers narrowly winning 21.6-20.0.
Sunday closes with the Houston Texans hosting the New England Patriots as a field goal underdog. Rob Gronkowski’s status remains up in the air, and J.J. Watt is expected to play the game with a broken hand, but the computer still sees the Texans springing the upset by a final score of 23.3-20.3.
The week wraps up with another primetime upset on Monday Night Football. The New York Giants are a 1.5-point road favorite against the Miami Dolphins. The Giants have lost three straight, and failed to cover in the last two games. The OddsShark Computer predicts another loss, by a final score of 26-23.5.
