Oklahoma CB Jordan Thomas jailed for failure to appear
Oklahoma cornerback Jordan Thomas was jailed Saturday after a bench warrant was issued for failure to appear stemming from traffic violations.
Thomas was still in jail as of Sunday morning.
According to court records obtained by the Tulsa World, Thomas was ticketed for going 94 miles per hour in a 75 MPH zone on July 24. The bench warrant was issued on Nov. 19 and his fine was $321.50.
#Sooners spokesman Mike Houck on Jordan Thomas: “We’re aware of Jordan’s traffic situation and it will be addressed internally.”

Thomas, a second team All-Big 12 defender, has 44 tackles and five interceptions this season. However, this isn’t the first time he’s been in trouble. He missed the first quarter of the season opener against Akron for a violation of team rules and missed the win over Tulsa for a similar unspecified transgression.
