NHL Three Stars: Bennett helps double up Avs; Hall’s OT winner beats Sharks
No. 1 Star: Beau Bennett, Pittsburgh Penguins
Bennett recorded the first two-goal game of his career as the Penguins beat the Colorado Avalanche 4-2. Down 2-1 in the third period, Bennett scored twice and Olli Maatta netted his fifth in a 3:24 span. Patric Hornqvist recorded a pair of assists.
No. 2 Star: Taylor Hall, Edmonton Oilers

The Oilers have now won five in a row at home for the first time since 2008. Jordan Eberle, Leon Draisaitl and Ryan Nugent-Hopkins, along with Hall, each had two points. The OT goal was Hall’s fifth of his career, tying with Ryan Smyth for second in franchise history.
