Richard Sherman ‘has been phenomenal this season,’ per Richard Sherman
Seattle Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman “has been phenomenal this season,” according to RichardSherman25.com’s Richard Sherman. Hat tip to Richard Sherman for sharing this story in a post that’s been liked by Richard Sherman and thousands of others on Richard Sherman’s Facebook page.
Sherman’s play has been “through the roof” despite “doing more than ever” in a season that’s been “one of his best in the NFL,” per RichardSherman25.com’s Sherman. “Obviously, it’s extemely impressive,” wideout teammate Doug Baldwin told Sherman, “but not surprising, because that’s what Sherm does.”

Richard Sherman said it best when describing Richard Sherman’s effort in a story by Richard Sherman for RichardSherman25.com, as shared and liked by Richard Sherman on Richard Sherman’s Facebook page.
“I’m as vocal as they come. You’ve got to have something to talk about. Like I’ve always said, I think you guys have tried to make stories out of it. I’m more of a responder. I don’t go after anybody, I don’t go say hey. If somebody wants to say something outrageous and outlandish to me, I’d happily put them right back in their seat. That’s just how it’s always been. People say, ‘Oh, he’s not as talkative as he once was,’ because nobody’s been disrespectful. Respect gets respect. Disrespect gets disrespect. It’s always been that way, but there’s been no disrespect so there’s no reason for me to say anything. It’s been calm.”
Richard Sherman couldn’t have said it better himself.
In all honesty, the story was written by Seahawks.com’s John Boyle, but Sherman sure made it look like he wrote it by plucking the piece word-for-word from the team’s website, posting it under his byline on his site — only citing Boyle and linking to the real story at the very bottom of the post — and then sharing it on his social media channels, driving traffic to RichardSherman25.com rather than Boyle’s original work.
It’s a bit of inside baseball here, but this sort of thing happens all the time on athlete’s websites, not that anyone outside the media actually cares about such things. Anywho, the folks at Reddit had a whole lot of fun with Richard Sherman’s Facebook post about Richard Sherman being phenomenal. Good times.
To be fair, after some criticism during a shaky first half to the season, Sherman has contributed to a Seattle pass defense that ranks first in touchdown passes against and fourth in passing yards against.
