How Stanford reacted when McCaffrey was named Heisman finalist (Video)
Christian McCaffrey’s teammates were quite excited for his Heisman finalist nod.
The Stanford running back was chosen as one of the three finalists for the 2015 Heisman Trophy on Monday. McCaffrey is going to New York for the trophy ceremony with Alabama running back Derrick Henry and Clemson quarterback Deshaun Watson. Here’s what it looked like from the meeting room where McCaffrey and some teammates watched the nominations:
McCaffrey set the FBS record for all-purpose yardage in Stanford’s Pac-12 title game win over USC on Saturday night. The sophomore has 3,496 all-purpose yards, a total that’s greater than 1,000 yards more than anyone else does.
