Stanford or USC? Iowa or Michigan State? Make your college football picks – OregonLive.com
Congratulations to Week 13 winner Bob Shoudt of Pennsylvania, who picked 13 of 15 games correctly in our Top 15 College Football Pick Off contest. Here’s the overall leaderboard after Week 13.
Now, on to the conference championships, which means a truncated schedule for Week 14 of our contest.
We’ve selected nine games for this week, but there are some great matchups. Iowa and Michigan State are set to clash for the Big Ten championship and a spot in the College Football Playoff. Clemson will look to remain undefeated against North Carolina in the ACC championship. Alabama will try to cement its playoff spot by beating Florida in the SEC championship. And Stanford’s slim hopes for a playoff spot are on the line against USC in the Pac-12 title game.
In the FCS playoffs, meanwhile, Portland State plays host to Northern Iowa.
The picks are now open for all nine games, so head over and make your picks before the first game on the slate, the MAC championship between Bowling Green and Northern Illinois at 5 p.m. Friday.
The contest: You’re invited to join and play our 2015 Top 15 College Football Pick Off game for a chance to win weekly prizes and the grand prize of a $500 gift card.
How it works: Each week, we’ll choose the week’s most intriguing college football matchups. Simply pick who you think will win the game, and then check back after the games to see how you did. Make your Week 14 picks before the first game kicks off at 5 p.m. Friday. (But don’t worry, even if you don’t get your picks in before the first game kicks off, you can still play.)
Prizes: The prizes are presented by Bi-Mart. Weekly prizes are $50 gift cards. The grand prize is a $500 gift card, second place is a $200 gift card and third place is a $100 gift card.
So make your picks, invite your friends and then sit back and watch some college football.
