Check it out: Josh Donaldson unveils ‘Vikings’ inspired hairstyle
Now that Josh Donaldson fully understands the power he yields as a fashion icon, he’s fully embracing it. The 2015 AL MVP gave the people a sneak peek at the hairstyle he plans to rock to start the 2016 season, and it’s quite the bold choice.

The look is inspired by Ragnar Lothbrok from History Channel’s hit show “Vikings”, who is played by Australian actor Travis Fimmel. So how does Donaldson’s cut compare to the one he’s attempting to emulate?
Not bad at all. With just under three months before spring training, Donaldson has plenty of time to get it just right. Blue Jays fans were so taken by Donaldson that many began to follow in his style footsteps. How many will do the same this year? The degree of difficulty has been raised, but something tells us Donaldson won’t be the only person with a glorious braid at Rogers Centre next season. And you know fellow MVP Bryce Harper, the only ballplayer who can rival Donaldson when it comes to hair matters, is paying very close attention to all of this.
