Evgeni Malkin scores ridiculous spinning goal vs. Oilers (Video)
Evgeni Malkin of the Pittsburgh Penguins is basically a human highlight reel lately.
Following this fabulous deke against the Minnesota Wild last week, Malkin scored one of the nastiest goals of the season against the Edmonton Oilers on Saturday night.
Malkin potted his 10th goal of the season on this steal-and-snipe against the Oilers in the second period. He picked the pocket of Oscar Klefbom and then left Mark Fayne defenseless with that awesome backhand shot from long distance.
The puck beat goalie Anders Nilsson, and the Penguins cut the Edmonton lead to 2-1. A few minutes later, it was Malkin, again, to tie it.
That was just 360 degrees of nasty, from the hustle back to steal the puck to the incredible backhander. The two goals gave Malkin 10 points in his last six games.
Breaking: Geno is good at hockey.
