Pelicans' Davis bruises knee in collision with CP3
LOS ANGELES — Anthony Davis was carried into the locker room by two teammates after bumping knees with Chris Paul in the third quarter of Friday night’s game between the New Orleans Pelicans and Los Angeles Clippers.
The Pelicans said Davis has a right knee contusion and is questionable to return.
Technical fouls were issued to Kendrick Perkins, out injured since the fourth game of the season, and assistant coach Robert Pack in argument of the play.
Davis, who missed three games already in the season, is averaging 25.3 points, 10.8 rebounds and 2.5 blocks per game this season for New Orleans, which was 4-11 entering Friday night’s game.
