The NFL is back for Week 12 and the OddsShark Computer is expecting a big weekend for underdogs – picking three to cover and three more to win outright.
The outright victories start with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers continuing their hot streak against an inconsistent Indianapolis Colts team. The Bucs are a field goal underdog, but the computer has them winning 27-20.
Washington hosts the New York Giants as a field goal underdog. The Giants have won five straight games SU and ATS in this series, but the computer has Washington springing the upset with a 27.4-25.1 victory.
The outright wins wrap up on Sunday Night Football when the Denver Broncos host the New England Patriots. New England is a field goal favorite, but the OddsShark Computer thinks Brock Osweiler and the Broncos’ No. 1 ranked defense can take care of business with a 25.6-20.4 victory.
The Arizona Cardinals are the biggest favorite, laying 10 points on the road against the San Francisco 49ers. The 49ers have not been a double-digit home underdog since 2006 according to the OddsShark NFL Database. The computer predicts a narrow cover for Arizona, winning by a final score of 28.9-18.4.
The Cincinnati Bengals are the next biggest favorite, laying 8.5 points at home against the St. Louis Rams. The computer has the Rams securing a narrow cover in a 23.9-16.6 loss.
The closest line of Sunday has the Atlanta Falcons as a one-point favorite at home against the Minnesota Vikings. The Falcons are slumping right now, and are not expecting running back Devonta Freeman in the lineup on Sunday. The computer has them failing to cover but securing what would be a huge victory, by a final score of 22.8-22.
The biggest covers of the week go to the Kansas City Chiefs and Seattle Seahawks. The Chiefs are a 6.5-point favorite at home against the San Diego Chargers, and the computer has them covering with relative ease by a final score of 26.9-13.7.
The Seahawks are a four-point favorite at home against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Although the Seahawks will be without Marshawn Lynch, the computer predicts a 28.2-17.9 victory and cover.
The week wraps up with the Cleveland Browns facing a depleted Baltimore Ravens team playing without Joe Flacco or Justin Forsett. The Browns are a field goal favorite, and the OddsShark Computer has Cleveland just narrowly covering, 23.8-20.1.
