The Brothers Benn hook up for pretty alley-oop shorthanded goal (Video)
There were a lot of goals in Dallas tonight as the Stars fell to the Ottawa Senators 7-4. The prettiest one of the eleven came early in the third period when Jordie and Jamie Benn hooked up for a shorthanded tally.
Down a man, Jordie took the puck in the defensive zone, saw brother Jamie shooting up ice and flipped a perfect pass that took one bounce and landed on the reigning MVPs stick, who then proceeded to beat Craig Anderson with a great move.
(“This is double Bennetration” is a call only Daryl Reaugh could make.)

Notice as soon as the puck leaves Erik Karlsson’s stick at the blue line and heads toward Jordie, Jamie starts making his move up ice and calls for it.
The Stars’ eventually came up short, but the Benns did their best to try and jumpstart a comeback.
