College football rivalry week brings huge matchups: Make your picks for Week 13 – OregonLive.com
Before we lay out all the rivalry games and top matchups in college football for Week 13, a quick look back at last week in our Top 15 College Football Pick Off contest. Congratulations to Week 12 winner Brian Moore of Portland, who picked 12 of 15 games correctly. Here’s the overall leaderboard after Week 12.
Now, on to Week 13, and college football’s rivalry week, which brings so many marquee matchups that it was tough to narrow the choices down to 15 games.
Ohio State visits Michigan in one of the sport’s most storied rivalries. Oklahoma State plays host to Bedlam rival Oklahoma. Alabama takes on Auburn in the Iron Bowl. Stanford looks to keep its College Football playoff hopes alive against Notre Dame. USC clashes with UCLA with the Pac-12 South on the line.
And, of course, the Oregon State Beavers visit the Oregon Ducks for the Civil War, and Washington and Washington State meet in the Apple Cup.
The picks are now open for all 15 games, so head over and make your picks before the first game on the slate, Texas Tech at Texas in a Thanksgiving Day matchup at 4:30 p.m. Thursday.
The contest: You’re invited to join and play our 2015 Top 15 College Football Pick Off game for a chance to win weekly prizes and the grand prize of a $500 gift card.
How it works: Each week, we’ll choose 15 of the week’s most intriguing college football matchups. Simply pick who you think will win the game, and then check back after the games to see how you did. Make your Week 13 picks before the first game kicks off at 4:30 p.m. Thursday. (But don’t worry, even if you don’t get your picks in before the first game kicks off, you can still play.)
Prizes: The prizes are presented by Bi-Mart. Weekly prizes are $50 gift cards. The grand prize is a $500 gift card, second place is a $200 gift card and third place is a $100 gift card.
So make your picks, invite your friends and then sit back and watch some college football.
