Washington State QB Luke Falk carted off after head injury (Video)
Washington State quarterback Luke Falk was carted off the field in the third quarter against Colorado after taking his second significant hit to the head in as many weeks.
Falk dropped back to pass when he was grabbed by Colorado’s Samson Kafovalu. Falk was whipped around and his head slammed against the turf. He appeared to be knocked out.
Falk laid motionless on the turf for several minutes while members of the training staff attended to him. He was ultimately immobilized and carted off the field. However, he did give a thumbs up and a wave as he was leaving the playing surface.
During his time in the game, Falk had completed 27 of 35 passes for 199 yards and a touchdown.
