The NFL is back for Week 11, and the OddsShark Computer is going heavy on the favorites. A week after underdogs ruled the roost the computer predicts a lot of favorites covering this time around — plus one underdog winning outright.
The outright win features the San Diego Chargers at home as a field goal underdog to the Kansas City Chiefs. The Chargers are 6-1 SU in their last seven home games against the Chiefs, and the computer has underdog San Diego winning by a final score of 24.2-22.8.
The Miami Dolphins host the Dallas Cowboys in what should be Tony Romo’s first game back from the short term injured reserve list. The Dolphins are a one-point favorite. The computer has the Dolphins winning just 25.8-25.4.
Another underdog cover features the Detroit Lions and Oakland Raiders. The Lions are a one-point home underdog, coming off their first road win over the Green Bay Packers in over 20 years. The computer predicts a Raiders slim victory by a final score of 24.0-23.8.
The latest line added to the board has the New York Jets as a 2.5-point favorite on the road against the Houston Texans. The Texans ruled out quarterback Brian Hoyer on Thursday due to a concussion. The line was not set until Thursday, so it could change significantly. For now the OddsShark Computer has the Jets winning 25.7-20.0.
The biggest line of the week has the Seattle Seahawks as a 12.5-point home favorite against the San Francisco 49ers. The Seahawks have won nine straight against the spread against the 49ers. The computer predicts an easy Seahawks cover, by a final score of 30.0-10.9.
The Denver Broncos are a one-point underdog on the road against the Chicago Bears in Brock Osweiler’s first start at quarterback. The Broncos are 2-0 SU and ATS in their two game as underdogs this season, but the computer has the Bears getting the cover by a final score of 24.2-19.6.
Sunday concludes with two teams in primetime for the second straight week. The Arizona Cardinals host the Cincinnati Bengals in a potential Super Bowl preview. The Cardinals are a five-point favorite, and the computer predicts a slim cover by a final score of 27.0-20.0.
The week wraps with a big AFC East matchup on Monday Night Football, with the New England Patriots a touchdown favorite over the Buffalo Bills. The Patriots are 2-4 ATS in their last six home games against the Bills, but the computer has the Patriots covering in a 29.4-15.9 victory.
