Kings F Gay exits loss with shoulder strain
MIAMI — Sacramento forward Rudy Gay left the Kings’ 116-109 loss to the Miami Heat on Thursday after straining his left shoulder.
Gay was hurt in the third quarter driving to the basket as Miami’s Justise Winslow took a swipe at the ball. Gay immediately grabbed his shoulder and left the game. He finished with 13 points in 25 minutes.
In 2011, Gay had season-ending surgery to repair a left shoulder subluxation.
