NHL Three Stars: Bernier’s bad night; Kane extends scoring streak to 13 games
No. 1 Star: Mats Zuccarello, New York Rangers
The Norwegian hobbit had three points in the Rangers 4-3 win over the Toronto Maple Leafs. He fed both Ryan McDonagh and Derick Brassard for goals earlier in the game before Zuccarello clinched it for blue shirts in the final 54-seconds.

The forward extended his scoring streak to 13 games with a goal and an assist in the Blackhawks 4-1 victory over the Flames. Kane has 7 goals in 7 consecutive games.
No. 3 Star: Marian Hossa, Chicago Blackhawks
Hossa scored his first goal (second on the season) since Oct. 17 and it help up as the game winner. He also assisted on Jonathan Toews game clinching empty netter at the end.
Honorable Mention: Antti Raanta improved to 4-0-0 on the year as the backup to King Henrik. All is not lost for the Leafs. They came back twice against the Rangers before losing in the final minute. Dion Phaneuf scored a beauty of a semi one timer off the faceoff feed from Tyler Bozek:
… The score didn’t look great for Karri Ramo but it could have been much worse. The Blackhawks threw 40 shots at Ramo and he made 37 saves. David Jones scored the lone goal for the Flames. Rookie Artemi Panarin scored his sixth goal of the season, giving him 18 total points thus far.
Did You Know? The Rangers have won 9 straight games.
Dishonorable Mention: Dan Boyle was held out of the lineup and Dylan McIlrath was inserted in his place. It was not a good night for Toronto Maple Leafs goalie Jonathan Bernier. This goal by Derek Stepan from center ice epitomizes the now 0-7-1 season the net minder has had:
