Less than a minute on field earns fan probation, 100 hours of community service
A narcissistic Indiana man who made a video of himself running on the field at Great American Ballpark in July in the eighth inning of a game between Cincinnati and the Chicago Cubs was sentenced to a year of probation and 100 hours of community service.
Justin Buchanan, 19, posted his video to social media sites on July 22 and told WCPO-TV in a phone interview, “By far the coolest thing I’ve ever done.”The video has since been deleted.

After researching the possible ramifications and tweeting about his plan ahead of time, he successfully ran from the third-base area to center field, scaled the outfield wall and left the ballpark without being caught by security.
But might as well have just surrendered while still at the ballpark because his decision to share the act with the world on social media forced him to turn himself in the following day. A Hamilton County Municipal Court judge was not impressed and sentenced Buchanan for the stunt after he plead guilty to a misdemeanor criminal trespassing charge.

He also is banned from the ballpark for one year. If he violates his probation, Buchanan will face 30 days in jail.
No word on what Buchanan will do in those 100 hours of community service, but it will probably amount to something like picking up trash on the side of the road.
