You know you want to listen to a clip of Ray Lewis singing his new song
There aren’t many instances of athletes making the successful transition to the music industry.
Some have done OK. Bronson Arroyo has some skills. Shaquille O’Neal wasn’t making Nas nervous, but he wasn’t the worst rapper ever. But for every one that can, there are a few dozen that can’t. If you’ve heard Deion Sanders’ “Must Be The Money,” or “K.O.B.E.,” you’re aware of this.
Ray Lewis is trying singing now. He apparently has a new song coming out, “Can You Stand The Rain,” and unfortunately it’s not a cover of the New Edition classic. He posted a short clip on his Instagram page.
This is was released on the former Baltimore Ravens linebacker’s verified Instagram and Twitter accounts so this is not a hoax.
Apparently there is an EP coming out of Ray’s music (there was the #ep hashtag in the social media posts, which tipped me off), and, well, yeah.
