BEST BETS
James Herbert: Clippers (-2.5) at Suns. They’re on a back-to-back on the road, but this is a small spread and the Suns have had some troubling performances lately. Phoenix didn’t even look like it was in the same league as Oklahoma City on Sunday.
Zach Harper: Heat (-5) OVER Jazz. I wanted to take the Jazz in this game but with Rudy Gobert turning his ankle Tuesday night against Cleveland, I’m not sure they’ll have that same shot blocking presence to contend with Hassan Whiteside. From there, the Heat can play off the big man and push the pace against a Utah team not interested in running.
Nick Kostos: Wolves +7.5 OVER Warriors. Consider the following two facts: 1) Everyone is going to take the Warriors, and 2) The casinos did not build themselves. The Wolves will claw out (see what I did there?) a home cover against the unbeaten Dubs.
