Michal Neuvirth misses save on bouncing Jarome Iginla shot attempt (Video)
Philadelphia Flyers goaltender Michal Neuvirth has been one of the top under-the-radar acquisitions this season.
The 27-year-old netminder came into Philly’s Tuesday game against the Colorado Avalanche pushing Steve Mason for the starting job with a 1.81 goal-against average and .945 save percentage.

But even the hottest of goaltenders are prone to a soft goal.
Above is a goal by Jarome Iginla that Neuvirth would probably like to have back. It looked like Iginla actually missed the shot attempt, but changed the trajectory of the puck enough for it to bounce through Neuvirth.
In spite of that score, Neuvirth stopped 14 of 15 Colorado shots on goal that period. Neuvirth is 1-2-1 in his last four games played for the struggling Flyers who entered the game against Colorado at 5-6-3.
Last summer the Flyers signed Neuvirth to a two-year $3.25 million contract.
