Patrick Marleau embarrasses Panthers for ‘NHL 94′ goal (Video)
Well, would you look at that: Patrick Marleau changed the settings to “EASY” and then scored a video game goal against the Florida Panthers on Thursday night.
I mean, that’s basically an unstoppable “NHL 94” move right there, right? Marleau collecting the puck in the neutral zone – after a nice play by Joel Ward to corral it – and then motoring past a pair of flat-footed Panthers.

And then the stuff of nightmares for defenseman Alex Petrovic, as Marleau uses a power move to blow past him, wards him off and pulls off a nasty deke inches from Al Montoya, who had his stick outstretched for a poke-check because Petrovic – a minus-4 in the game’s first 40 minutes – was useless.
Marleau moved around the goalie to the front of the crease and scored a diving backhand goal.
“What a goal by Patrick Marleau!” indeed, Randy Hahn. It was his fourth of the season and No. 460 for his career.
