Antoine Roussel slew-foots Zac Rinaldo (Video)

In his Tuesday game against the Boston Bruins, Dallas Stars forward Antoine Roussel took his leg and lifted up Zac Rinaldo’s foot. Roussel was given a minor penalty for tripping, but this looked a bit like a slew-foot.

Rinaldo then fell backwards in what appeared to be a dangerous situation. Roussel was suspended two games last February for cross-checking Bruins defenseman Adam McQuaid in the throat.

Roussel was also fined $5,376.34 last November for sucker punching San Jose Sharks defenseman Justin Braun.

Roussel has six points through 12 games and 24 penalty minutes this season. He’s coming off full seasons of 209 and 148 penalty minutes respectively.
