BEST BETS
Harper: Jazz +4 at Indiana: You can be concerned about the back-to-back for Utah if you want. That can always be tricky in judging a line and whether or not to bet it. This Jazz team is better than the Pacers, they know their identity, and they just cruised against the Sixers to gather momentum after their first win. Giving them four points on the road against a Pacers team that just gave up a 39-point fourth quarter to the Grizzlies seems like easy money.
Moore: Nets +11.5 at Grizzlies: Memphis rarely blows teams out, they were one of the worst teams in the league at double-digit spreads last year. Brooklyn’s on a back to back, and you have to like Memphis to win, but 11.5 is too much for Memphis at nearly any point. Not how they play.
Herbert: Warriors (-4) over Pelicans. Is this line some kind of accident? We just watched the champs blow this injured team out. I get that New Orleans is at home, but I’m extremely confused here. Golden State is, uh, golden.
Even on a back-to-back, isn’t Steph Curry covering a four-point spread? (USATSI)
