Wright homer puts Mets up early in Game 3
With his Mets down 1-0 to the Royals in Game 3 of the World Series on Friday night (KC-NYM GameTracker), team captain David Wright sent a bolt through the Citi Field crowd with this clout off a Yordano Ventura sinker …
That was a 385-foot, two-run homer that left the bat at 103 mph. That was also just the second postseason homer of his career and the first since Game 4 of the 2006 NLCS. During the 2015 regular season, Wright hit only one home run at Citi Field.
