The Toledo Walleye would like to take all of you children of the 1980s back in time on November 21st when they celebrate “8-Bit Night.”
When the ECHL side hosts the Fort Wayne Komets, both sides will get involved by sporting these amazing Nintendo-themed jerseys:

The jerseys will be put up during a live auction postgame with proceeds benefiting the Adopt America Network, Alzheimer’s Association NW Ohio Chapter and Walleye Wishing Well.
This year marks the 30th anniversary of the videogame console’s launch in North America; the one that introduced us all to Mario, Zelda, Mega Man, Duck Hunt, and Tetris, among many, many others.
We hope there will be an NES Ice Hockey tournament on the jumbotron postgame, or at least the Walleye players celebrating Blades of Steel-style after they score a goal.
